Member District discounts include 30% off per staff registration or 40% off whole-staff registrations and two free tickets to the TIE Conference starting Sept. 1. Literacy Framework Workshops at TIE26

In addition to conference sessions, TIE26 will offer two half-day Literacy Framework workshops, scheduled across both days of the conference. Educators may attend one or both workshops, with dedicated time for hands-on planning, collaboration, and district-level literacy work.

ELA-SD grantee districts may use grant funds to support attendance.

Keynote Speaker: Lisa Parry

Lisa Parry is a veteran English teacher and PK–12 principal with more than 30 years of experience in South Dakota education. She leads a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School and a 2020 National ESEA Distinguished School and was named South Dakota Region 1 Principal of the Year in 2022.

A co-developer of the SD DOE Good to Great Teacher Mentoring Program and contributor to the state’s Principal Leadership & Development Program, Lisa is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Sioux Falls and a keynote speaker with the AAE Speakers Bureau. She has presented at TEDx and national conferences across the country.

Known for her powerful communication and practical leadership insights, Lisa speaks on burnout prevention, conflict resolution, and leading with intention. TIE26 attendees can expect inspiration they can immediately put into action.
