Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is a field of artificial intelligence which creates new data and content (text, images, video, etc.) by using patterns it has learned from its training data. Popular examples of generative AI include large language models like ChatGPT and Google Gemini, text-to-image generators like DALL-E and Adobe Firefly, as well as a wide array of other tools. These tools are being used to streamline lesson planning, provide differentiated resources for students, support administrative tasks, and spark new ways of engaging learners.
