What is Generative AI?
Generative AI works by learning from large amounts of data, which can be anything from images and text to sounds. It then uses that data to make predictions or decisions. Once a user enters a prompt into a generative AI tool, it generates a response based on the data and patterns it can recognize.
Why Should Educators Care About AI?
In the educational community, these tools can be very beneficial for creating efficient workflows. This gives teachers more personal time to spend with their students. For students, generative AI can be an educational coach or idea generator, and experiences with AI will prepare them for shifting job markets.
