When implemented intentionally, co-teaching creates more opportunities to meet diverse learner needs, strengthen instruction, and increase access to grade-level learning. Supported Classroom Training

Build a stronger classroom team by creating shared expectations and clearly defined roles for teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff. Participants will explore practical strategies for collaboration, student support, data collection, and promoting student independence.

Administration Supporting Co-Teaching

Strong co-teaching starts with the systems and support to help teams succeed. Administrators will learn how to recognize effective co-teaching, provide meaningful feedback, address common barriers, and align scheduling, planning, professional learning, and coaching to support sustainable implementation.

Whether your district is just getting started or ready to deepen an established co-teaching practice, our readiness-based training provides practical support for every stage of implementation. Each offering combines professional development with continued coaching and support throughout the school year to help teams put learning into practice and sustain growth over time.

    Co-Teaching Bootcamp
    Take co-teaching to the next level through a flexible, application-focused learning experience customized to your district’s priorities. Teams build shared knowledge, participate in targeted breakout sessions, and apply new strategies directly to their own classrooms through dedicated collaborative planning time.

    Whole Group Instruction builds a shared foundation for effective co-teaching while giving teams opportunities to reflect, ask questions, and strengthen their understanding together.

    Session Breakouts provide targeted learning based on participants’ experience, needs, and interests. Topics can be customized to your district and may include co-teaching model selection, classroom management, maximizing both educators during instruction, explicit instruction, parallel and alternative teaching, station teaching, differentiation, formative assessment, PLC connections, and using student data to guide instruction.

    Basecamp gives co-teaching teams dedicated time to put their learning into practice. Through collaborative activities and structured planning, teams examine their partnership, students, classroom structures, and instructional priorities, then apply new strategies and identify practical next steps for their classrooms.

    Master Scheduling for Student Access and Success
    Explore how high school master scheduling can support special education services while maximizing access to grade-level instruction and peers. Participants will examine student placement, co-taught courses, service requirements, LRE, and other scheduling considerations to create stronger opportunities for inclusion and student success.

Make collaborative planning more purposeful by creating structures that keep both educators focused on student learning. Teams will use student strengths, needs, and evidence to define instructional roles, select appropriate co-teaching models, and make decisions about next steps together.

Co-Teaching Basics: Revisiting the Foundations for New Teams

Build or refresh the foundations of an effective co-teaching partnership. Participants will explore five co-teaching models, examine when and how to use each one, and develop practical strategies for differentiation, student engagement, and common implementation challenges.
